Help!!! Please anyone..... I am a 40 year old man with a wife, adopted daughter, and 2 adopted dogs. I was out of work for 9 months for cancer surgery, and when I finally got back to work, my wife lost her job. I make next to nothing at my civil service job of 8 years. I only took it because it was steady and had benefits. My wife and I agreed that one of us would take this kind of job and the other would find something that paid better. Well that never seemed to work out. We recently used up the little nest egg we had, and now I'm not able to pay our bills, I can't even buy food for us or the dogs.
I've been battling depression since a car accident in 1999 which left me with chronic intractable head pain. This is the closest I've ever been to doing myself in. I need help from someone, anyone to help us out of this mess. I'll do myself in before I lose our home, at least my wife will get the little bit of life insurance I have through work. If anyone can help, please, please do. I don't want to die and hate begging for help, but I can't see anyway out at this rate. If anyone can donate any amount at all it would be greatly appreciated.
